1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using InkTyper ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

InkTyper is provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. The Free tier is available at no cost with usage limitations. The Pro tier requires a one-time purchase and grants unlimited local transcription usage.

You may install and use the Software on multiple devices that you own, subject to the activation limits specified at the time of purchase.

3. Usage Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
  • Distribute, sublicense, or resell the Software or your license key
  • Use the Software for any illegal purpose
  • Circumvent any usage limitations or license enforcement mechanisms

4. Third-Party Services

The Software may integrate with third-party API services (OpenAI, SiliconFlow, etc.) when configured by the user. Use of those services is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or data handling.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, background noise, and speech clarity.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL LEGENDARY ANIMAL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to revoke licenses in cases of terms violation, chargeback fraud, or unauthorized distribution of license keys.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
